IDC Asia/Pacific is hereby defined as
“IDC”. Participation in the IDC Circle (hereinafter called “the IDC Circle”) is
a program offered by IDC under the terms and conditions herein. All data and
information displayed on the IDC Circle is provided by IDC unless otherwise
stated and is the responsibility of IDC.
1. ELIGIBILITY
1.1 Individuals working in corporations or organizations in
applicable countries in the Asia Pacific region ("Program Members") can access
the IDC Circle when they successfully register and log
in online at www.IDCcircle.com, the online address of the IDC Circle (the
“Online Address”).
1.2 All Executive Reports, information and other data
provided on the IDC Circle (the “Information”) shall be the sole property of
IDC. Copyright laws apply to this Information. IDC reserves the right to
withdraw and/or amend any Information which it shall in its absolute discretion
deem fit at any time without prior notice and for any reason whatsoever.
1.3 Program Members working in corporations or organizations
outside the Asia Pacific region (and in Asia Pacific countries where the IDC
Circle is not available) are not eligible to access the IDC Circle.
1.4 IDC reserves the right to terminate the IDC Circle if and
whenever it deems fit and for any reason whatsoever without giving any notice to
the Program Members and without being liable for any loss.
1.5 Only one (1) customer account per Program Member is
allowed. IDC reserves the right not to allow the registration of any person to
the IDC Circle in its absolute discretion.
2. ISSUANCE OF IDC POINTS (“IDC Points”)
2.1 IDC Points may be awarded to Program Members as follows
during the Period:
a) when a new Program Member successfully registers on the
IDC Circle, the Program Member will receive 300 IDC Points;
b) when a Program Member successfully completes IDC Online
surveys (the “Surveys”) by accessing the Online Address, logging in with a valid
User ID and Password and then fully completing a Survey, the Program Member will
receive the number of IDC Points associated with that Survey as listed on the
IDC Circle;
c) when a Program Member successfully introduces a genuine
colleague (the “Colleague”) to the IDC Circle by accessing the Online Address
and logging in with a valid User ID and Password and then fully completing the
online ‘member-get-member’ form with the Colleague’s name and email address and
a personalized message (as prompted) and that Colleague successfully registers
on the IDC Circle, logs in with a valid User ID and Password and then
successfully completes one or more Surveys, the introducing Program Member will
receive 50 IDC Points. An email will be
automatically forwarded to the introduced Colleagues inviting them to register
on the IDC Circle. The operation of the “member-get-member” mechanic is subject
to the Spam Act 2003 (Australia) and The Unsolicited Electronic Messages Act
2007 (New Zealand); and
Bonus IDC Points may also be awarded from time to time to all
or selected Program Members, at IDC's absolute discretion, during special
promotions or events. IDC reserves the right not to allocate IDC Points to a
Program Member’s account for any reasons it deems fit. IDC’s decision regarding
IDC Points allocation and acceptance is final.
2.2 IDC Points may be extended by IDC as and when it deems
fit.
2.3 IDC Points may be reflected in the Program Member's
statements that may be sent from time to time via the eNewsletters to the email
address of the Program Member.
2.4 IDC Points of one Program Member cannot be combined with
those of any other Program Member and shall not be transferable between Program
Members, whether linked to the IDC Circle or otherwise.
2.5 The sale, barter, trading or transfer of IDC Points by or
between Program Members is prohibited. IDC reserves the right to terminate the
account of any Program Member in the event of any breach of these terms and
conditions by such Program Member.
2.6 IDC Points may be used by Program Members to redeem
Executive Reports and other Information available on the IDC Circle and to
register for events/workshops organised by IDC. The method of redemption of
Executive Reports and other Information will be explained by IDC to the Program
Member at the time of redemption or registration (as the case may be) either via
the website at the Online Address or via email. Any costs associated with
attending any IDC event, including but not limited to travel, accommodation,
meals, taxes, insurance, passports, visas, transfers and any other ancillary
costs, are the sole responsibility of the Program Member.
2.7 It is the responsibility of the Program Member to check
his/her IDC Points balance through his/her account statements, or by accessing
the Online Address or other means as may be notified by IDC from time to time.
Any disputes relating to IDC Points or charges being deducted from the
designated account should be notified in writing in English using the customer
service section available on the IDC Circle.
The said notice should be given within fourteen (14) days from the date of the
relevant account statement which is in dispute after which the account statement
may be relied on by the IDC as constituting conclusive evidence as against the
Program Member of the truth and accuracy of the amounts item and entries stated
therein. IDC's records as to the number of IDC Points allocated to a Program
Member shall be final and conclusive.
2.8 The IDC Points summary reflected in the online account
statements/eNewsletters will only list the IDC Points approved by IDC.
